Role Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate One-to-One Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 9 student who has an EHCP for Autism Spectrum Condition and ADHD. You will help the student navigate both academic challenges and social interactions, contributing to their overall development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the student in their academic subjects, following their EHCP goals.
2. Help develop the student's communication and social interaction skills.
3. Provide emotional support, particularly around managing ADHD and Autism-related challenges.
4. Monitor the student's progress and collaborate with teachers and parents.
5. Encourage a positive and supportive learning environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
6. Experience supporting students with Autism and ADHD.
7. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to remain patient and adaptable.
9. Commitment to supporting the student's holistic development.
