Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Cardiac Physiologist to join the Cardiology team. A Cardiac Physiologist is required to work as a competent practitioner performing a range of Diagnostic investigations. Duties will include Ambulatory Analysis, Exercise Tolerance testing, and Tilt tests. The successful candidate will perform a range of diagnostic investigations independently within the department and assist in some complex investigations. Analyse and report findings for Ambulatory Monitors and perform routine ECGs and fit ambulatory monitors on a variety of patients. Work collaboratively on a day-to-day basis with others to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the service.
Training will be offered in Pacemaker implantation and follow-up.

1. Recording Electrocardiograms (ECGs)
2. Ambulatory 24Hr BP monitoring
3. Ambulatory 24 HR ECG monitor Analysis
4. Analysis of the R test Event recorders
5. Assist in ETT/ HUT
6. Assist Pacemaker Implant and follow-ups

5. Experience of Cardiac Treadmill tests and Tilt tests
6. Previous experience of working in a cardiology and/or respiratory department
7. Experience of organizing workload for a small team
