An incredible, renowned SEN School for young people and children with a primary diagnosis of ASD based in Maidenhead are looking for a trainee ABA Therapist to join their team. The young people at this school all have a diagnosis of ASD, however this co-exists with various complex mental health needs. Your position will be learning the basis of ABA therapy and implementing this in day to day school life. The school employs a positive behaviour approach and the trainee ABA therapist will be expected to enforce this. The role is full-time working 8.30am to 3.45pm, this is a long-term temporary role to begin with but there are permanent opportunities in the future.
The SEN school are looking for a trainee ABA therapist who is passionate about supporting the well-being of the children in their care and are looking to pursue a vocation either working with children specifically or in the field of SEN, Psychology, Therapy or something similar. Graduates who are interested in this trainee ABA therapist position are welcomed. No experience is necessary - the school are looking for the right personality and motivation to work with Special Needs pupil. Of course, experience is absolutely still helpful!
The successful trainee ABA therapist will receive weekly training, learn from trained professionals and build invaluable experience with verbal and non-verbal SEN students.
