Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Local Business Development Manager to join our Volkswagen Van Centre Dealership in Exeter.
Whilst you will be based in our new dealership in Devon we would expect the successful candidate to actively seek out new fleet and business sales across our area of opportunity.
You will be responsible for managing your own area of influence to source and develop sustainable local business / fleet sales opportunities in line with both Volkswagen and Yeomans Group objectives.
You will act as the key point of contact for new and existing local business customers promoting Volkswagen’s fantastic range of commercial vehicles.
The successful candidate will need to be resilient and self-motivated with a disciplined work ethic planning and organising your own sales activities to win new profitable business.

Role and Responsibilities
* Identifying and targeting new customers through a planned, diligent, and measured prospecting process
* Work closely with the Volkswagen field team.
* Create and implement direct marketing initiatives within your area of responsibility to inspire and create prospect and existing customer interaction.
* Manage and influence existing customers identifying business growth opportunities for both sales and aftersales
* Prepare and manage your fleet database from scratch and management reports in accordance with the business and brands requirements for updates and review purposes.
* Build lasting and valued customer, supplying partner and team relationships.
