Overall job purpose To provide communications and engagement support to colleagues across the Directorate. This role will support the directorate to effectively manage support requests and activity, develop content for internal and external communications, deliver internal and external events, and assist the Communications and Engagement directorate with other tasks and projects as required. Job Description Support management of the Communications and Engagement grid to support the planning and implementation of communications activity and ensure directorate oversight of wider organisational activity Manage the communications, engagement and events form with responsibility for triaging and ensuring timely responses to requests Provide operational support to the Participant Panel at Genomics England including organising their quarterly meetings, writing minutes, booking travel and accommodation, reporting spend against the allocated budget and supporting their attendance at external events Support delivery of internal communications including bi-weekly Exchange newsletter and development of engaging and accessible content on the intranet Collate content, create and distribute email communications using software such as MailChimp Schedule and publish content on our external website as required Offer logistics support for our internal events, and external online and in-person events such as our annual research conference Support management of shared inboxes ensuring timely responses to enquiries Support production of quarterly reports to monitor and evaluate communications and engagement activity Provide administrative support to colleagues across the Directorate as required Act as a company brand champion, ensuring that communications reflect our brand and messaging Know and understand the meaning behind our virtues and leadership behaviours and embody them in all aspects of your role Qualifications Whilst we recognise relevant qualifications we are mostly interested in your experience in line with the job description.
