We are currently recruiting for experienced TAs in the Sutton area.
As a SEND Teaching assistant, you will be providing support on both a general and 1-1 basis.
You will be supporting students between KS1-KS5 with special educational and complex needs. This may include those with autism, ADHD, SPD (sensory processing disorder), Speech and Language difficulties, as well those struggling with mental and emotional challenges such as trauma induced behaviour, social anxiety and low self-esteem.
We specialise in providing qualified and experienced tutors/TA's to work with young people who are not currently accessing mainstream education.
This tuition will be delivered across a mixture of settings including within the school and at the family home.

Roles, Responsibilities and Person Specification - SEND Teaching Assistant
Assist with planning and preparing learning materials, delivering lessons and activities that meet the needs of students with SEND.
Work with a variety of students throughout the week.
Provide emotional and physical support to foster individual development.
Contribute to a supportive, enriching environment where every day brings new challenges and rewards.
Assisting with the assessment and monitoring of students' progress.
Reliable and consistent with good communication skills.
An adaptable, patient and caring approach to working with students with SEN and complex needs such as autism and ADHD, SPD, and other associated conditions.
A child centred approach.
Located in the south London area (Sutton).
Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
Available during school hours and available for 3 - 30hrs contracts per week.

To be considered as a Tutor,/TA you must have experience working with a variety of students ideally including those with SEND and SEMH, and have a background in teaching or private tutoring. If you can only provide 1 of the above core subjects, please still apply stating your subject specialism as you will still be considered
