Assist in the development and implementation of annual marketing plans, working closely with the in-house marketing team, the ownership group and the external advertising/PR agency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Work closely with Direct Marketing team on promotions, offers and database marketing initiatives.
2. Work closely with advertising agency on all PR and Advertising efforts.
3. Oversee the television, radio, billboard commercials traffic schedule and coordination with agency.
4. Present creative ideas on new ways to promote the property via web, e-mail and media promotions.
5. Assist in planning and coordinating major events for Bally’s Dover.
6. Assist in the design and scheduling of the Marquee messages for slots, hotel, harness.
7. Create job orders for all design needs for slots, hotel, entertainment and harness.
8. Monitor social media accounts for any follow-up needs and guest service issues.
9. Proofread all marketing materials.
10. Track expenses, reconcile invoices and report forecast expenses to marketing and finance team.
11. Ensure that all reporting is accurate, distributed appropriately, and on a timely basis.
12. Assist Director of Marketing on administrative functions as needed.
13. Provide exceptional customer service.
14. Work safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
15. Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
16. Follow all relevant policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Journalism or equivalent work experience.
2. 1-2 years’ experience preferred.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
4. Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently.
5. Strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure.
6. Professional verbal and written communication skills required.
7. Ability to multi-task and balance numerous and diverse operations.
8. Strong interpersonal skills to foster client, vendor, and internal relations.
9. Ability to provide excellent customer service.
10. Fluency in English required.
11. Ability to perform manipulation of numbers and basic math calculations.
12. Ability to conduct analysis and generate reports to reflect findings.
13. Ability to express ideas or make recommendations concerning job-related issues.
14. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
15. Ability to logically and independently plan, organize and complete work.
