Job Title: SHEQ Advisor Category: Health and Safety, Engineering Location: Omagh Salary: Negotiable Permanent full-time Due to continued growth, we have an opportunity for a SHEQ Advisor to join our established team. Based at our head office, the successful candidate will be responsible for health and safety, environmental and quality assurance on construction projects. A competitive salary and benefits package is on offer for the successful candidate. The Company: Adman Civil Projects Ltd is an established civil engineering Company based in Omagh, Co Tyrone. An opportunity has arisen for a full-time, permanent SHEQ Advisor to join our successful team, working across a variety of projects within Ireland inclusive of civils, rail, and windfarm projects. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, procedures, rules and regulations are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated Conduct safety audits, inspections, and investigations; compile reports and ensure compliance is consistently maintained Ensure the completion and regular review of Method Statements and risk assessments Ensure all accidents and near misses are documented, investigated and the recommended improvements are implemented Ensure that employees, contractors, and site visitors receive site induction Plan and coordinate SHEQ related training for employees Maintain and update all relevant SHEQ Department administration. Assist in developing all the required documentation for the SHEQ Management System to be compliant with ISO and ISO and 9001:2015 standards The Person: NEBOSH OHAS Qualification Certificate minimum held for at least 2 years Environmental and Quality qualification is advantageous Exposure to and understanding of implementation of ISO 45001 or 18001 and ISO 14001 and 9001 Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar Health and Safety role knowledge of Rail works and or Windfarm works would be beneficial but not essential Excellent communication and team building skills Well-developed organisation / planning skills Good problem - solving skills, provides solutions Sound IT skills and strong experience in Microsoft packages especially Word & Excel A Clean Driving licence is essential for travel to sites The Package: A competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate, in addition to this we offer: Pension Scheme Holiday Scheme accrue up to 35 holidays during your first 5 years of service Private Health Scheme and Cash Plan Company Uniform Training and development opportunities To apply: Please email your CV by clicking Apply below.
