We, at Leggett and Platt Inc., are searching for an HR Manager within our Himan Resources team to help support our Aerospace business. At L and P Aerospace, we specialize in creating complex tube and duct assemblies using high:performance materials capable of withstanding extreme pressure, temperature, and chemical interactions. This position will oversee all human resources functions at the site, including time and attendance, leave, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, recruitment, training and compliance. This role will partner with site leadership to develop actions and solutions regarding engagement, retention, and talent development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive organizational effectiveness and change initiatives to ensure the organization has the right people, right structure, and right processes to drive short and long:term business success.
Develop and implement plans and programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Partner with the leadership team and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase retention.
Administer Employee Benefits program, including pension administration through third:party administrator.
Lead site recruitment, including supporting the onsite Apprenticeship program.
Serve as an HR business partner to the Manufacturing Site Leader and cross:functional leadership team.
Implement and communicate company:wide initiatives and changes.
Responsible for data control under GDPR.
Provide counsel on matters of employee and organizational policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
Partner with leadership teams in developing, implementing, and tracking initiatives across the organization.
Manage and resolve associate relations issues.
Provide performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure associates have the skills and resources they need to achieve their objectives.
Evaluate reports, decisions, and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Lead, develop, engage and maximize performance of a high performing team.
Monitor critical HR KPI's and ensure action to mitigate areas of concern.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Strong knowledge of government employment laws and regulations

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, and/or related field
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Demonstrated progression in a HR generalist role, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment
