Our site-based Lead Maintenance Engineer spends their working day at our quarry based in Newark. Your job will be to make sure our machinery is fit for purpose for our customer, enabling the production team to ensure their day-to-day operations run smoothly, extracting gypsum from the quarry for our client.
Overall objective:
Reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager, the Lead Maintenance Engineer will utilise their skills and experience to carry out diagnostics, repairs and maintenance to the plant equipment in a safe, responsible and efficient manner.
Technical skills/knowledge/education required:
* Must hold or are working towards a minimum NVQ level 3 in plant maintenance or equivalent qualification.
* Previous experience using systems and completing jobs card documentation.
* Previous experience working with CAT, Komatsu, and Volvo machinery.
* IOSH managing safely qualification or willing to work towards this.
