What You’ll Do:
1. Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering creativity and innovation to address aviation security risks.
2. Act as a role model, demonstrating British Airways’ values and behaviours while setting the standard for security and operational excellence.
3. Identify and resolve security performance issues at high-risk locations, ensuring robust measures are in place to maintain compliance and security.
4. Build strong and effective partnerships with partners around the world, ensuring continued and robust aviation security delivery.
5. Drive a learning mindset, empowering your team to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing security environment.
6. Deliver innovative solutions to emerging challenges, leveraging critical thinking and creative approaches to problem-solving.
What You’ll Bring to British Airways:

Your Experience:
1. Demonstrated success in leading teams within a high-stakes security environment, preferably in aviation or a similarly regulated industry.
2. A strong background in managing security risks, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder relationships.
3. Proven track record of embedding creativity and innovation in operational processes.
4. Relevant qualifications such as UK Security Clearance, AvSec Manager certification, or DfT Threat Assessment training are desirable.
