Durbin arecurrently looking for a Logistics Clerk to join theirpharmaceutical operations team.
Objective:
To support all operationalactivities, to ensure the efficient and safe distribution of allproducts to and from Durbin UKfacilities.
Responsible for assisting in theday-to-day logistics functions, to ensure company's targets andobjectives are met to meet customer requirements, ensuringcompliance with health, safety, and standard operatingprocedures.
Responsibilities:
* Toenter all necessary data on to the in-house computersystem.
* To communicate with customers viatelephone, e-mail.
* To organise, manage and fileown paperwork.
* To file general departmentalpaperwork when required.
* To carry out generaloffice duties.
* To share the responsibility fordata-entry along with other members of thedepartment.
* To complete the 'Track and Trace'process and update internal system.
* To carryout the despatch process including preparing documents using theDurbin in-house system.
* To raise Airway Billsand prepare all other relevant logisticspaperwork.
* To prepare all labels and labellingfor despatch of goods.
* To prepare all necessarypaperwork for various courier, freight, and shippingservices.
* To prepare invoices using the Durbinin-house system.
* To provide an excellent levelof service to all internal and externalcustomers.
* Other duties which may be reasonablyrequired from time to time by company managers, including delegatedduties during the absence ofcolleagues.
* Additional hours (to contractualhours) may be required to meet tightdeadlines
* Assisting internal colleagues withqueries and concerns.
* To carry out the relevantGDP SOPs as instructed by the RP of theCompany.
Qualificationsandexperience:
* Previousexperience working in a pharmaceutical environment ispreferred
* Previous experience of working withERP and TMS systems.
* Knowledge of NES/CustomsEntry/Chief.
* Knowledge of dangerousgoods.
* Freight experience, sea, air androad.
Skills:
* PreviousLogistics Experience
* Knowledge of freightdocumentation.
* Fast and accurate data entryskills.
* Strong communication skills both verbaland written.
* Strong organisational skills and ahigh level of attention todetail.
* Self-motivated and resultorientated
* Working in a team and the ability towork efficiently in a fast-pacedenvironment
* Strong PC skills, includingMicrosoft Office and Excel.

* Ability to work between the hours of9:00-17.30 Monday to Friday on site, and availability to workweekends when required.
