Based in Sheffield, our client has vast experience in producing low or high specification components, from plastics, nylons and metals.
Job description
The role of CNC Miller programmer, setter operator will include the following duties:
⦁ Online Programming Using Heidenhain controls
⦁ Be able to use basic inspection equipment.
The ideal candidate will:
⦁ Have proven experience in programming, setting and operating machines using Heidenhain controls.
⦁ Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
⦁ Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
⦁ Overtime/additional hours Maybe be required, depending on the work load of the business.
⦁ Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
⦁ Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
⦁ Professional and self-motivated attitude.
⦁ Good organisational & time management skills.
