We are looking to recruit a self-motivated, I.T. literate craftsperson with excellent Electrical and Engineering knowledge to join the estates team. The post holder will be responsible for fault finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment. The day-to-day duties will include planned preventative maintenance, general repairs, Energy Centre checks, and responding to high priority emergencies to ensure continuity of service in a vibrant busy hospital.
NTH Solutions is a wholly owned subsidiary company of North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, established in April 2018 to provide estates, facilities, and support services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To install, maintain, service, and repair the full range of estates specialist equipment, plant, and infrastructure.
2. Provide technical advice to other estates maintenance staff and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
3. Act in the role of Competent Person, as defined by Health Technical Memorandum, for the Electrical Distribution (LV) system.
4. Undertake condition surveys and evaluate inspection reports.

1. Ensure the risk of infection to yourself, colleagues, patients, relatives, and visitors is minimised by adhering to Trust policies and guidance on infection prevention and control.
2. Attend Trust Induction Programme(s) and statutory education programmes in infection prevention and control.
3. Include infection prevention and control as an integral part of your continuous personal/professional development.
4. Take personal responsibility to help ensure that effective prevention and control of healthcare-acquired infections is embedded into everyday practice.
