As our Senior Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by: Implementation of embedded firmware designs and test solutions primarily in C and C# Implementation of cryptographic solutions. Creation of design documentation. Practical hands-on experience working with and debugging embedded systems. Working in a team environment. Ability to complete design related tasks with minimal supervision. What we will love about your background: Ability to verify product software requirements. Good working knowledge of low programming languages (C/C#) and scripting. Familiar with the majority of low-level developer techniques. TDD Unit test approach. Familiar with CI/CD techniques. Able to demonstrate experience with software version control. Able to demonstrate experience with the FW/SW development progress. Able to use standard development software: debuggers, editors, compilers. Understanding of cryptographic solutions including symmetric & PKI asymmetric Your Experience and Education include: Engineering degree or equivalent or suitable experience. Minimum of 4 years of related industry experience. Additional Skills/ Experience Smart Card ISO7816 and RFID ISO 14443/15593 protocols I2C and SPI protocols. USB low level protocols. Cryptographic code programming. Jenkins automation server/client programming. NUnit test frame4work. Bluetooth Low Energy protocol. Scripting languages e.g. Python. CMock unit testing.
