Paramount Personnel are recruiting for a talented Pastry Chef de Partie, for our client, an award winning Hotel in the Cirencester area. The successful candidate will ideally have a proven history within a fast paced environment, be a driven individual and be looking to expand their culinary skills within a progressive company.
The successful Pastry Chef de Partie will assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen, managing one of 4 sections, whilst being creative in sharing ideas on menu development. The Pastry CDP will be passionate about locally sourced food, with all ingredients being sourced from local suppliers in order to provide sustainable but excellent dishes.
Pastry Chef de Partie responsibilities;
6. Prepare dishes to the highest standards of quality, safety and consistency.
7. Ensure recipes are followed to ensure risk of cross contamination are kept to a minimum.
8. Ensure brand standards are followed to ensure consistency of quality.
9. Work as part of a team in preparation, cooking, garnishing, or presentation of food.
10. Follow standards and regulations relating with cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
11. Ensure chef is informed where food or other supplies need to be ordered.
12. Check the quantity and quality of received products
