Senior Pensions Administrator In-House Scheme

You will be responsible for supporting the Administration team in delivering technical administration cases and calculations across a defined Benefit Scheme. Your responsibilities include:
1. Completing calculations and managing correspondence for members ensuring that they are completed within SLA.
2. Completing calculations and managing correspondence for high earners including legislative controls for protection.
3. Completing QA checks on colleague communications from a pension technical and legislative perspective.
4. Updating and reconciling worklists to ensure compliance.
5. Reviewing transfer cases ensuring compliance with regulations.
6. Responding to email correspondence and management of team email inboxes.
7. Assisting auditors with any queries they may have during the annual audit.
8. Completing and reviewing complex member calculations ensuring all calculation SLA's are maintained.
9. Reviewing complaint/Historic pension transfer cases.
10. Authorisation of daily payments.
11. Supporting all processes to maintain compliance and minimise escalations and complaints.
12. Providing support and testing for cyclic projects and key projects.
13. Support team in PMI exams.
14. Taking the initiative.
You will need experience within DB Pension Scheme administration, either in-house or Third Party, with the following qualifications:
1. Administration experience of technical benefit calculations.
2. Up to date knowledge of UK Pensions legislation.
3. Prioritisation and time management skills.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Strong teamwork ethic and willingness to help.
6. Highly motivated and keen to learn.
7. Highly numerate and analytical.
8. UK Pension Scheme knowledge.
9. Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) to improve processes and drive efficiency.
