Commercial Pilot Instructor / Trainer\n WFH with international travel (fully expensed).\n Hourly Rate £80-£100\n 10 Months Duration.\n Start ASAP\n\nAbout the Role: \nOur client is seeking a CBTA Deployment Lead & Instructor to support global airline customers in the implementation of Competency-Based Training & Assessment (CBTA) and Evidence-Based Training (EBT) programs. This role is instrumental in enhancing aviation safety by providing additional capacity within the global CBTA Deployment team in 2025. \nThe CBTA Deployment team is dedicated to the development of capable and resilient commercial aviation professionals.
Their training solutions are trusted worldwide, leveraging extensive experience, knowledge, and research to increase learning efficacy and enhance aviation safety. \n\nRole Responsibilities:\n\nLead a CBTA Deployment team of subject matter experts at a customer airline to assess their needs for transitioning to a CBTA/EBT program.\n\nUtilize prior instructor experience to review pilot training requirements, ensuring the development of appropriate competency-based training content, objectives, and design.\n\nOversee airline development, delivery, and evaluation of CBTA programs.\n\nEvaluate current airline training philosophies and provide support during their transition to a CBTA/EBT program.\n\nGather data and provide detailed reports to support airline CBTA development initiatives.\n\nAssess accuracy and quality of airline training delivery, presenting proposals to customers and providing consultation on CBTA program implementation.\nRequired Experience:\n\nPossession of or prior experience holding a commercial pilot license, preferably with previous experience operating Boeing aircraft. (This is a non-flying role.)\n\nMinimum of 3 years in a management position within an airline Flight Operations or Training Department.\n\nStrong understanding of pilot training program regulatory requirements.\n\nComprehensive knowledge of CBTA and EBT principles.\n\nExcellent presentation and communication skills.\n\nProven experience in leading a team remotely and independently.\n\nUnderstanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and their application to pilot training.\n\nExtensive pilot instructional background (TRI/TRE) with more than 3 years of experience.\n\nDemonstrated success in delivering complex projects within the commercial airline training sector.\n\nKnowledge of project and program management principles and practices.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for aviation professionals passionate about training and safety to make a global impact.\n Candidates who meet the requirements and are ready to take on this rewarding challenge are encouraged to apply.\n\nServices advertised by Gold Group are those of an Agency and/or an Employment Business.\n We will contact you within the next 14 days if you are selected for interview.
