Our partnership at Heathrow continues to grow and as such the Costain Heathrow team are looking for a MEP Senior Site Agent to work Tranche 31 water projects at Heathrow Airport within the ARP portfolio. The T2A Chilled Water Pipework replacement is one of the largest packages within the ARP framework. This role requires a strong, experienced and hardworking Senior Site Agent to help the team through a collaborative approach with our Client and Supply Chain to deliver this important project on time, safely and in budget. This position offers up the opportunity to demonstrate Costain’s capability and values to grow the Costain account at Heathrow to ensure a future pipeline of work for our organisation and growing talent within the team. LI-JK1 Responsibilities Has a significant experience delivering large scale construction and MEP projects in a regulated environment Has managed contractors to safely execute site installation works. Has followed operating procedures. Quality and Health and Safety focused. Has a good awareness of CDM, construction practices and health and safety legislation. Can demonstrate effective stakeholder management and understands the importance of integrated team delivery. Has contract management experience and can effectively manage daily site works at the work front. Can communicate effectively with operatives and management. Risk & Opportunity Identification: Recognise and communicate risks and opportunities in the Clause 32 programme. Work proactively with the Agent to develop contingency plans. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory, company, and project safety requirements in all operations under your supervision. Temporary Works Coordination: Assist the Temporary Works Coordinator to ensure compliance with best practices, liaising between different teams as needed. Qualifications Site Management Safety Training Scheme SMSTS. NVQ L6 construction management Relevant CSCS Card Other relevant training (preferred includes Appointed Person, relevant lifting training, and temporary works co-ordination) Understanding of Engineering Principles and extensive technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices Knowledge of construction contract law and forms of contract through formal training. Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document control system, Primavera software). Successful experience at Senior Engineer / Agent level / Site Manager Effective communication skills for interface with members of the public and other stakeholders Current Driving Licence
