Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join their team in Holton. This role focuses on providing operational HR support and guidance across employee relations, development, resourcing, and reward. You will play a key role in driving site performance through effective people management, in line with company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:
* Implement the site people plan to support and improve site performance.
* Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management, ensuring adherence to company policies.
* Provide daily operational HR support and guidance to managers across employee relations, development, and resourcing, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.
* Assist with HR projects, including job grading and change management, ensuring timely execution within budget.
* Facilitate effective site communications to engage employees regarding policy and process changes.
* Support recruitment efforts and oversee HR KPI reporting, analyzing trends to inform site activities.
* Represent HR in daily operational meetings and provide support for customer and legal audits.
* Cover for the HR Business Partner as needed, including directing HR Coordinator activities.
About You:
* Extensive generalist HR experience, ideally within a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
* CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it, with a strong grasp of HR best practices and tools.
* Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations issues.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across all levels.
* Strong communication abilities to clearly convey technical HR information.
* Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation, including areas like collective agreements, dismissals, and discrimination.
