Sittingbourne hybrid working available We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a Building Safety Coordinator to join our dedicated Fire Safety team. This team is responsible for delivering a wide range of fire safety arrangements across the Southern Housing estate. You will be at the heart of driving forward a solutions-based culture and will gain valuable experience in working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Some key duties will include: Assisting in managing and actioning incoming enquiries including Fire & Rescue Service, fire actions, fire incidents, PCFRAs and PEEPs. Managingday to day running of mailboxes and ensure inquiries and requests are promptly responded to and demonstrates a high level of customer service. Providing administrative support to the Fire Safety Team, including coordinating operational activities, issuing communications. Maintaining and updating our resident and property databases including our fire compliance portal Risk Hub. The role is hybrid with a minimum of 2 days in either our Croydon or Sittingbourne office. What youll need Astrong administration background, with the ability to use appropriate IT tools to produce reports, documents, emails, and mail merge. Knowledge and experience within the Housing Sector, fire safety and health and safety would be an advantage. The ability to communicate answers and solutions confidently to customers/colleagues, face to face, by phone and by writing in customer friendly language. A pro-active solutions based approach. You'll be pragmatic with a creative approach to problem solving and have the ability to quickly identify and evaluate problems to reach a solution. An appetite to drive forward meaningful change, and an aptitude for innovation and improvement. The abilityto manage a flexible and demanding workload to meet agreed targets and deadlines.
