An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Energy Manager to join a global manufacturing organisation.
The Energy Manager will be responsible for leading the site's projects with regards to energy reduction.
Ideally, candidates should be a qualified ISO50001 Lead Auditor and have three years of experience in Energy Management or energy improvement cases.
Daily Duties Include:
1. Manage key performance indicators for site energy usage.
2. Utilise energy monitoring and metering equipment for data analysis and reporting.
3. Promote energy saving activities and projects across the site.
4. Identify energy saving projects with good case studies for spend justification.
5. Raise capital expenditure requests for energy saving opportunities.
6. Continuous improvement of energy efficiency and reduction of energy demand through technical or organisational measures (Process, Plant, System Optimisation).
7. Manage opportunities within Government schemes (CCA, ESOS etc.).
8. Benchmark new/existing energy efficiency measures within Group/Division; explore innovative technologies/processes to enable sustainable solutions.
9. Take responsibility for energy compliance within the division (current legislation in energy law).
10. Responsible for leading internal MAFACT Energy Reduction aspects.
11. Ensure the site makes significant reductions in energy usage in line with business planning.
12. Ensure the site achieves its group targets for energy management.
