Job Description VP Finance Trent 1000 & Trent 7000 Full Time Derby/Hyrbid What you will be doing An exciting opportunity has arisen for a VP Finance Trent 1000 & 7000, within the Trent Fleet and Mature Engines (TFM) finance team. TFM is a value stream with P&L accountability, from OE through to aftermarket for 15 engines types. Spanning from Regional engines (AE3007, BR715) through to the large Trent engines such as the Trent 700, Trent 1000 and Trent 7000. Each engine type is at a different stage in its product lifecycle bringing differing opportunities and challenges. Responsibilities Work collaboratively with the Trent 1000 and 7000 teams to set challenging financial forecasts which balance the risk and opportunities of the programmes. • Performance manage the Trent 1000 and 7000 team to achieving the committed financial performance, providing insight to influence decisions, recommending corrective actions and seeking innovative and creative solutions. Managing risk to an acceptable level. • Provide finance acumen to the commercial decision support processes (Sell Value Stream, Investment Committees), providing financial input, analysis and guidance to key decisions. Influencing the outcomes to maximise returns and minimise risk • Ensure a strong financial governance and control environment for Trent 1000 and 7000 is maintained and operated effectively. • Deputise for the SVP Finance on operational, commercial & financial decision making as required.
