About the Role:
1. As a Service Engineer, you will primarily be working on X-ray dental and veterinary equipment, with the rest of your time spent servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of dental and veterinary equipment. This is a customer-facing role, where you'll be out on the road, visiting practices across the region.
2. While your main focus will be on X-ray equipment, your day-to-day will also involve a mix of working with dental tables, tools, and other electromechanical devices.
3. You'll be travelling to customer sites, typically involving 7-10 overnight stays each month, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable with travel.
What are we looking for?
1. Experience in veterinary and/or dental engineering is ideal.
2. Specialist knowledge of X-ray equipment, including servicing, calibration, and troubleshooting.
3. Strong electromechanical skills, with preference for candidates with a background in military engineering, or similar technical experience.
4. You need to be self-motivated, highly organised, and have excellent customer-facing skills.
5. You should be comfortable working independently and possess the technical expertise to handle a variety of equipment challenges.
Package:
1. Salary depending on experience.
2. Car allowance of £700 per month to support your travel.
3. A structured working week from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
4. Time in lieu for any weekend work (rarely happens, only a few times a year).
5. 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
6. Solid pension scheme.
