INTRODUCTION
We are seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant at our Trowbridge Campus. The successful candidate will be part of the Silverwood Catering Team and will work closely with members of the Support Staff Team and Midday Supervisory Assistants. TERMS
The successful candidate will be required to work 11am until 1:45pm, 2 hours and 45 minutes per day, Monday to Friday, 13 hours and 45 minutes per week, Term -time only, working 38 weeks per year. SALARY
Grade B Scale 2, £12.26 per hour
Salary £7,367 approx. per year. Pay award pending

Your role will involve serving prepared meals at lunchtime, and possibly helping with the catering for meetings.
You will be responsible for;
• Preparing the food hall for meals and cleaning down after the pupils have eaten lunch
• Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy, adhering to food standards and H&S requirements.
Applicants should be capable, efficient, adaptable, have an eye for detail and cleanliness. We are looking for someone with a friendly personality and a can-do attitude. A catering qualification and/or proven experience is desirable but not essential. ABOUT US
