Cookson Attenborough is an extremely busy 28 bedded ward that accepts elective patients for surgical procedures, as both day cases and overnight stays. We are looking for a Clinical Orderly to complete our Nursing Team.
As part of that Nursing team your duties would include general cleaning of the patient bed areas, equipment, general tidying and stocking up of the ward and assisting the nursing staff with essential patient specific general ad Hoc errands. All staff within the hospital have a key role to play in infection control and prevention & you could be a part of a team that makes a vital contribution to the patient's experience during their time in hospital., Maintain a clean, neat and tidy appearance following departmental policy. Bed safety rails checks Report mechanical defects on machines to department lead Ensure observation of infection control procedure Ensure observation of hygiene legislation and internal policies.
