We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Manchester, assembling non-conveyorized systems. In this role, you will interpret 3D models and general assembly diagrams to assemble mechanical components and systems with precision. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components and systems according to 3D models and assembly diagrams. Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications to ensure accurate assembly. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to assemble components. Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with company standards. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during the assembly process. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve assembly techniques and processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. What You Need HNC or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanical fitting or relevant fields are preferred. Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role, ideally with experience in assembling non-conveyorized systems. Strong understanding of general assembly diagrams. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a team. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to lift up to 15Kg.
