This is a full-time position starting ASAP and running until the end of the academic year. About the Role: The school are seeking a compassionate and vibrant teacher to take on a Key Stage 1 class. The class consists of children of varying abilities and some children with SEND, so a teacher with extensive experience of supporting students with a range of SEND is desirable. As the class teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing behaviour effectively, and fostering an inclusive, stimulating learning environment. You will be expected to take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessment, and participation in school activities. Key Responsibilities: Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, creating a positive and dynamic learning environment. The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or 2. Be adaptable, proactive, and confident in managing a class and curriculum responsibilities. Be passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Be local to the Sittingbourne area or willing to commute. Hold a valid, up-to-date DBS or be willing to obtain one. Why Apply?
