Applications are invited for a 12-month Clinical Fellowship post within the Cambridge Centre for Lung Infection, which comprises the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre, The Lung Defence Clinic and The Respiratory Immunology Clinic at Royal Papworth Hospital. The post is open to internal medicine trainees or specialist trainees in respiratory medicine (or following completion of a Respiratory Medicine training programme) and is ideal for respiratory trainees with an interest in Bronchiectasis, lung infections (including fungal and non-tuberculous mycobacterial pulmonary disease), Adult Cystic Fibrosis Medicine and Respiratory Immunology. The post holder will be supervised by Dr Dorothy Grogono (Consultant Respiratory Physician, Papworth Hospital). The successful appointee will have Honorary Specialist Registrar status within the Trust.

Main duties of the job
1. Participation in inpatient care provision for patients with cystic fibrosis and lung infections as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
2. Participation in specialist clinics for cystic fibrosis, complex lung infections and immune deficiency under guidance of CCLI Respiratory and Immunology consultants.
3. Participation in assessment and supervision of patients on home intravenous antibiotic programmes through ambulatory care unit.

* Experience/training in internal medicine
* Is participating in or has completed a specialist respiratory medicine training programme (SpR level).
