Mastek is seeking a User Researcher to join our dynamic and growing User-Centred Design practice. This role involves leading impactful projects for clients across the public and private sectors, applying user-centred methods in agile environments, and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. User-centred Design Projects:
Design and execute comprehensive user research approaches tailored to project objectives.
2. Develop insightful, phase-specific deliverables that guide product and service design.
3. Communicate complex research findings and project scopes clearly to diverse audiences, ensuring strategic alignment.
1. Stakeholder Engagement:
Cultivate strong relationships with client teams, promoting understanding and buy-in for user-centred methodologies.
2. Mentor stakeholders in UCD practices, enhancing organisational capabilities.
3. Identify and propose innovative solutions and cross-sell opportunities, contributing to business growth.
1. Business Development:
Collaborate on crafting compelling proposals that integrate UCD principles.
2. Apply agile and UCD methodologies to bid processes, aligning with client visions.
1. Community Development:
Contribute to shaping Mastek's UCD strategy and market propositions.
2. Engage in developing the internal UCD community, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Qualifications:
1. Experience:
Demonstratable experience in agile user research within complex programs.
2. Proven track record of translating research into insights and solutions.
3. Experience with GDS/NHS service standards is highly beneficial, particularly in healthcare contexts.

Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
2. Proficient in facilitating both virtual and physical collaborative sessions.
3. Adept at navigating and clarifying complex, ambiguous project landscapes.
4. Competence or interest in service and content/communication design enhances candidacy.
