Position: Purchase Ledger
Location: Basingstoke
Hours: Part-time, up to 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities:
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you’ll be responsible for keeping the Purchase and General Ledger running smoothly. Your main duties will include:
1. Coding, scanning, and posting invoices.
2. Managing the weekly payment run.
3. Setting up supplier accounts for inter-company COGS invoices, office overheads, travel, and other expenses.
4. Handling credit card transactions and expense claims, ensuring everything is processed correctly and in line with company policy.
5. Supporting the sales ledger by processing incoming customer and non-customer payments, ensuring they’re allocated correctly, and unposted items are cleared.
You will need:
1. Previous ledger experience, with a good understanding of accounting processes.
2. Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
3. The ability to work with minimal supervision.
4. A compliance-focused approach to work.
