Job Title: Safety Officer
Location: Singapore
Experience: 1-3 Years
Salary: Depends Upon Experience
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures.
* Inspect workplace conditions and identify potential hazards.
* Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures.
* Investigate workplace accidents and prepare reports with corrective actions.
* Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
* Conduct safety training sessions for employees.
* Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Coordinate with management and regulatory authorities on safety matters.
* Stay updated with Singapore’s workplace safety and health regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
* Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
* Certification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or local Singapore WSH certifications preferred.
* Strong knowledge of Singapore’s workplace safety regulations and compliance standards.
Skills Required:
* Strong understanding of workplace safety management and risk assessment.
* Excellent communication and training skills.
* Ability to respond to emergencies and implement safety protocols effectively.
* Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in preparing reports and maintaining safety documentation.
* Strong leadership and organizational skills.
