Applications are invited for the position of part-time (0.8 FTE) Teacher of Art (Maternity Cover) from September 2025 to join our successful Art and Textiles department for up to one year. We run GCSE and A Level courses in Textiles and therefore require an experienced and committed teacher for these as well as the teaching of KS3 art and textiles. Textiles is a popular part of the curriculum and many girls progress onto either Art Foundation or degree courses.
The ideal candidate will be an inspiring and innovative teacher who can demonstrate flair in the classroom and motivate as well as challenge students of all abilities.
Specialist skills in painting and drawing are an essential part of this job role as is proficiency in Photoshop. Additionally, the ability to teach across a range of art specialisms including photography, 3D design or graphics would be beneficial but not essential.
