Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in Monmouthshire. This role involves working with students aged 11-16, offering both one-on-one support and small group assistance. You will also work with students who may have additional learning needs (ALN), including conditions such as ASD, ADHD, BESD, and SEMH.
This is a challenging yet fulfilling role, and we're looking for candidates who are comfortable, adaptable, and resilient. Prior experience in a similar setting is an advantage but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students and work closely with small groups.
- Assist students with various additional learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with children and staff, contributing positively to the team.
- Support the class teacher with daily tasks and ensure a nurturing environment for students.

Position Details:
- Start Date: January 6th, 2025
- Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Full-Time
- Pay Rate: Starting from £77 per day
Requirements:
- DBS clearance
- EWC registration
- Ability to provide two references
- Right to work in the UK
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (provided free by Teaching Personnel if needed)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
