Valid driving license for client site visits (expenses paid) Proficiency in Windows Server (2012–2019) Good understanding of Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, and on-premise Exchange (2012–2019) Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, configurations and diagnostics Strong understanding of WLANS Proven client relationship skills with a commitment to client satisfaction Effective team collaboration skills, essential in our operational environment Familiarity with IT support tools such as Quick Assist, Team Viewer, RDP etc Willingness to learn new technologies What will your role as a System Support Engineer look like? Provide comprehensive IT support across all areas, including field engineering Manage Windows Server environments (2012–2019), including Active Directory, Group Policy, and RDP Administer Hosted Exchange (2016–2019) systems Perform network maintenance and implement solutions for DHCP, VLANs, and VPN Design and deploy new networking solutions, including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls Oversee client domains and DNS records and domain renewals Monitor and manage email systems, including SPAM filtering (Linux CLI) Collaborate with the events team to deliver reliable wireless/wired internet connections for event delegates Identify opportunities for business improvement and service enhancements Maintain an up-to-date asset inventory and ensure all jobs and tickets are accurately logged Mentor and support a junior team member to foster their professional growth If you are ready to start your career at Alpha Omega Computers, then click APPLY now We can't wait to hear from you Your data will be handled in line with GDPR.
