Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an RTTValidation Senior Clerk within our Surgery Team. As the RTT Validation Senior Clerk you will carry out timely, accurate and relevant validation,quality assurance and tracking of the 18 Week Wait and Suspected Cancer Pathways.The post holder will deliverbespoke training to individuals and group staff members. Working closely with Service Managers andOperational Support Managers within the CBU you willmaintain and enhance data qualityby identifying ways to improve processes through validation and develop Standard Operating Procedures. You will beresponsible for assessment of complex patient pathways through analysis andevaluation of options in order to determine appropriate 18WW RTT status coding.
Main duties of the job
Towork closely with the CBU, Service Manager and Operational Support Manager to support the business andoperational needs of the Clinical Business Unit.
Touse prolonged concentration to undertake complex analyses requiring accuracyand attention to detail when assessing complex 18WW RTT pathways.
To monitordata quality across the CBU in relation to the 18WW referral.
To analysecomplex patient pathways in order to identify areas of poor 18WWRTT status,coding practice and highlight them tothe relevant Admin and Clerical manager.
Arrange meetings and maintain action logs / minutesin regard to RTT data compliance, waiting times, clock stops, errors found andprovide regular reports on progress.
Deliver bespoke training toindividual and group staff members
