A vacancy has arisen for two Maintenance Engineers on the 12hr night shift (Monday to Thursday from 18:00hrs to 06:00hrs) and one Maintenance Engineer on the 12hrs weekend shift (Friday to Sunday from 06:00hrs to 18:00hrs), reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The Postholder’s duties will include carrying out plant and equipment installation in line with the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system and best working practices, maintaining minimal disruption whilst carrying out all new instructions and quality maintenance/repair processes & practices. At all times, the successful candidate will maintain awareness of all aspects of Health & Safety, ISO quality standards and other quality standards to ensure adherence to emergency procedures and that security of personnel is maintained to a high standard.
The successful candidate will be able to read and have an understanding of electrical & mechanical schematic drawings, have knowledge of PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controller) Systems, have experience of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), and have knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics. Knowledge of welding & fabrication would be desirable for this role, as would electrical qualifications.
