The successful candidate will work two days per week, 8:30am - 12, 12.30- 3pm (with an unpaid lunch break of 30mins). They will work closely with, and be supported by, staff from both bases. Additional guidance / training will be provided by the school's SENCO. There may be the opportunity to supplement their income with additional TA overtime hours and to possibly work some hours prior to January.
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic and flexible part-time Teaching Assistant (TA) to work 1:1 with a pupil with specific needs at our Monkton Farleigh base (BA15 2QD) from January 2024. Experience of working with children with additional needs, and an awareness of meeting emotional needs and a trauma led approach would be advantageous., Able to carry out numerous roles under the guidance of class teachers to ensure that pupils are well supported and make good progress.
