My client is a well-established manufacturer of electrical power distribution equipment is seeking a Materials Handler to join their operations team. This innovative company is committed to providing energy-efficient solutions to combat global energy wastage. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for: Loading and unloading various types of distribution and power transformers using overhead cranes. Transporting and processing materials across two sites using forklifts and company vehicles. Operating general workshop machinery and hand tools related to the role. Conducting quality inspections of colleagues’ work. Ensuring smooth operations by delivering materials in a timely manner. Maintaining cleanliness and promptly reporting any issues, shortages, or equipment breakdowns. Skills, Knowledge & Experience Applicants should have: Experience in a manufacturing environment (essential). A Counter Balance FLT license (up to 7 tonnes) (essential). A full driving license (essential). The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a “can-do” attitude, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively. Flexibility in working hours and tasks is also required.
