The Internal Sales Executive will be a primary link between the internal organisation and customers, distributors, production, technical and senior sales team and will be responsible for all aspects of customer interaction including quotations, project work, bespoke products, status updates, and customer service assistance.
Specifically, the Internal Sales Executive will be working closely with the Senior Sales Team to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal sales process and ensure a proactive approach to selling is established within the team, as well as being responsible for:
1. Using the pool of non-allocated customers to win and develop business and eventually turn them into regular allocated customers.
2. Managing the quotation process from receipt of request for quote through to submission to the customer.
3. Managing the process of following up quotations from within the internal sales department and any additional quotations, as directed by the senior sales team.
4. Assuring timely response to customer enquiries/complaints/feedback.
5. Working closely with customers to ensure we meet or exceed our customer’s expectations.
6. Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies.
7. Providing market updates and informing customers about other products the company offers.
8. Escalating and resolving areas of concern as raised by customers.
9. Carrying out client satisfaction surveys and reviews.
10. Supporting with maintaining orderbook and forecast, providing timely and accurate system updates and reviews as and when requested.
11. Co-ordinating and being responsible for the issuing and the follow up until conclusion of customer samples and demo kit issued by the sales and technical team.
12. Co-ordinating and being responsible for the Customer Return process.
13. Providing general administrative support to the senior sales team in all aspects of the sales process and on larger project quotations, when required.
