Job Title: Environmental Consultant Location: Chorley & Agile Type: Full Time Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 Client information: We are excited to be working with a fantastic new client in Chorley supporting them with their continued business growth. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager (Consultant) to support improvements in environmental performance. Our client is an award-winning, value-based sustainability consultancy committed to social value, reducing its environmental impact and supporting others to do the same this could be the role for you. Our client is a women owned business and LGTBQIA led with clients in the UK, EU and USA. Your new role • Working strategically with our clients, to deliver ISO management systems to environmental, energy and sustainable events. This involves communication both verbal, online and face to face. • Providing support on auditing, training and implementation for our clients and partners on a range of environmental and sustainability topics and themes. • You will be comfortable dealing directly with the customer and have good attention to customer needs and feedback. Delivering our annual internal carbon footprint so we can report this to clients across our emission scopes. • Work closely with the CEO, to ensure projects are being managed and delivering on time and to budget. Line management of post graduate internships. • Attending local networking events to promote the company’s services more widely. Opportunity to travel in the EU and USA is offered with this role. Essential Candidate Requirements • Master’s Degree and Degree in a relevant Environmental Discipline is essential. • Membership to a Technical Institute at post graduate level is essential such as IEMA or Energy Institute or similar. • Qualification as a Lead ISO 14001 Auditor. • Commercial awareness and ability to work within commercial constraints. • Self-motivated and ability to drive projects. • Strong problem solving and analysis skills. • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. • Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements. • Excellent planning, project management, organizational and decision-making skills. • Strong report writing skills. • Access to a vehicle and full clean driving licence. • Between 3 to 5 years relevant industry experience, backed up with references. • Right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship. • Excellent time management, project management and client management skills. • Passport and no restrictions on international travel to support our clients in the EU and USA If you are interested in this fantastic opportunity and would any further information or to be considered, apply now or get in touch with our consultant Dave Hayes – Daveperfect-recruitment.co.uk.
