This single academy school with Sixth Form, based in Colchester are looking to appoint a passionate and creative Part-time Art Teacher to work in a friendly and supportive Creative Arts department on a long-term basis. Working in this Secondary School as part of an established team, the desired Part-time Art Teacher will be planning and delivering lessons to KS3-KS5 students. This is a long-term role, offering fantastic CPD opportunities and a clear progression structure. With a ‘Good’ OFSTED rating and the opportunity for a part-time Art Teacher to teach A-Level, this school offers free on-site parking and also has transport links via regular bus routes and Greater Anglia train.
Requirements
The desired Part-time Art Teacher will;
Be able to create a safe and positive learning environment.
Have high expectations of their students and enjoy working in a thriving Creative Arts department.
Be able to deliver creative and engaging lessons up to KS5.
Have a good knowledge of the UK Curriculum.
PGCE in Secondary Art with QTS and right to work in the UK.
Suitable for ECTs!
