The Role
* Provide day-to-day professional advice to a mixed portfolio of estate and land-owning clients.
* Act as the first point of contact for a number of existing clients, managing their professional needs and consistently providing sound advice.
* Manage rural estates and property portfolios, provide strategic advice to farm and estate clients, draft agreements, and handle a variety of tasks related to property advice.
* Work with the Partners to identify and develop viable business development opportunities to expand the team.
* Collaborate with specialist teams including planning and development, valuation, energy and infrastructure, agency, and natural capital to deliver and develop new fee opportunities.
* Assist in developing and implementing efficient 'best practice' internal systems and processes, optimizing IT and other resources.
* Ensure legal, professional, and corporate compliance on all work carried out.
* Assist with pitch reporting and presentations.
What do you need?
You will be a chartered surveyor with a proven track record in delivering excellent rural professional and estate management services, and experience in developing relationships with existing and potential clients. We seek enthusiasm, integrity, and a can-do attitude; someone who can manage multiple projects and handle a variety of work. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be flexible in your approach, and contribute to a supportive and collaborative team. You should be prepared to manage and develop other team members while actively seeking continuous self-development.
