Job Title: Project Manager Department: Projects Location: Head Office (Stafford) Position: Full Time Hours: 41.5 Principle Purpose of Position: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new Project Manager to support our Projects Team. To manage all installation projects allocated in an efficient manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Completing projects on time and within budget, whilst maximising gross profit and without compromising quality. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Full responsibility for a portfolio of short and medium term installation Projects. Deliver all undertakings safely, on-time, to specification and within budget. The selection and management of subcontractors and suppliers. Variation capture and change management. Foster repeat business, through class leading customer service. Ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards. Assessment of the required resources (Labour, Plant, Materials, Cost, Time). Development of project plans and progress tracking. Collaboration with the Design Team to Value Engineer projects where possible, improving cost efficiency and installation timescales. Occasional site visits for pre-start meetings and quality audits. Collaboration with the Sales Team, supporting work winning activities and new opportunities. Achievement of departmental and personal KPIs. Skills: Very strong planning and organisational skills - to facilitate multitasking. A Commercial mindset – Seek opportunities to increase income and to save costs, without compromising quality or client relationships. Problem solving – We live and breathe ‘solutions.’ Flexible, can-do attitude required. Commercially aware – Seek opportunities to save costs, without compromising quality. Strong IT and Communication Skills. Experience & Qualifications: Project Management experience required. Experience in Construction, Fit Out, Installation, M&E or comparable fields. A recognised Project Management Qualification would be beneficial, as would SMSTS and/or a CSCS Card, but training could be provided.
