As a Physical Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in encouraging students to embrace physical education and a healthy lifestyle. You will deliver engaging lessons, foster teamwork, and inspire students to reach their potential in physical and sporting activities. Responsibilities of the Physical Education Teacher: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4 in line with the national curriculum. Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where all students can thrive. Use innovative teaching methods to inspire students of varying abilities. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and tailored support. Prepare students for exams, ensuring they are confident and well-equipped to succeed. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development. Participate in school activities, including extracurricular programs and events. Requirements of the Physical Education Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. A degree in science or a related field. Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 Science (open to ECTs or experienced teachers). Strong classroom management and communication skills. A passion for science and the ability to inspire enthusiasm in students. Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
