The client is an exciting, up-and-coming Civils company, specialising in water infrastructure. They are based in Beverley, East Yorkshire.
The Project
As a setting out Site Engineer, your role on site will be to assist the Senior site engineer in setting out and site documentation (RAMS). This is a dual role, bridged between setting out duties onsite and upholding high safety and documentation standards in the office. You will also be a helping hand to the Senior site engineer and Project Manager in supporting them in their duties. This is a great opportunity for a Civils site engineer to grow and develop their engineering skills!
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A construction-related degree
2. CSCS Card
It is also essential that you hold the experience below;
1. Background and good understanding of setting out on groundworks/construction projects
2. Willingness and drive to learn and perfect their craft, gaining a bigger understanding of civil engineering and setting out
Additional skills;

2. Excellent attention to detail
3. Effective time management
4. Ability to learn and build on previous experience
5. Skillful in maintaining high quality standards
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills
7. Proficient in utilising construction management software, CAD tools, and other relevant technology
8. Possess an understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project specifications
The Role
Job Title: Site Engineer

Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000
Reporting to: Senior Site Manager
Duties
1. Setting Out
2. Quality assurance
3. Generate as-built surveys and record data
4. Analyse and execute technical drawings, plans, and specifications
5. Collaborate closely with the team to facilitate seamless project implementation
6. Enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure the safety of all site personnel
7. Collaborate with other members of site staff to set up and uphold project schedules
8. Identify and address any technical issues or challenges encountered during the construction
9. Conduct site surveys to establish reference points, lines, and levels for construction activities
10. Execute quality control protocols to ensure all tasks adhere to required standards and specifications
11. Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure they comply with design specifications and project plans
12. Implement and oversee compliance with relevant building codes, regulations and environmental standards
13. Support the acquisition of materials and equipment, ensuring they meet project specifications and are delivered on schedule
14. Maintain detailed and accurate project records, including daily logs, inspection reports, and compliance documentation
15. Coordinate the testing of materials, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet required standards and specifications
