Position: Residential Support Worker & Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: CH44 (Wirral) & Liverpool
Salary: £26,520 - £30,360 (Dependent on experience, number of sleeps, qualifications and position)

What would be expected from me as a Residential Support Worker?
* Be flexible to work shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep ins. On average you would work 10 shifts (8am - 11pm) per month and between 6 -10 sleep ins.
* Be over the age of 21 and have the right to work in the UK.
* Be kind and caring with a good sense of humour, ability to develop relationships with our children, and have a good work ethic.
* Ideally have experience of working with or caring for children, as a support worker, but more importantly having life skills from a range of backgrounds as we can train the rest.
* Be a team player and attend the necessary training courses as and when requested.
What is the role of a Residential Support Worker?
* Supporting children/young people with their day-to-day tasks, such as:
o Supporting our young people with good routines, including being up on time for school and having a good breakfast.
o Preparing evening meals and planning the evening with them.
o Helping with homework and other after school activities.
o Encouraging young people to be involved in activities or to relax and feel at home.
o Keeping up to date with recording and reporting.
o Ensuring the house is kept clean and tidy.

* I want someone to be able to talk to and tell them how I feel.

* For someone to not judge me.
