Job Title: Construction Paralegal Location: London Salary: Competitive Job Type: Full-time / Permanent The Opportunity A reputable legal team is seeking a Construction Paralegal to assist with a broad range of non-contentious construction matters. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience in drafting and reviewing construction contracts, supporting solicitors on transactional work, and conducting legal research within a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Assisting with the preparation, review, and amendment of construction contracts, including JCT and NEC agreements. Conducting legal research on construction law, regulations, and industry developments. Managing case files, maintaining accurate records, and handling document management. Supporting solicitors with due diligence on construction projects and transactional matters. Liaising with clients, external counsel, and other stakeholders regarding contract queries and legal documentation. Assisting with the preparation of reports, client updates, and correspondence. Providing general administrative support to the construction legal team. Key Requirements Previous experience as a paralegal, ideally within non-contentious construction or a related practice area. A strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and regulatory compliance. Excellent legal research, drafting, and organisational skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems.
