We’re recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join our city centre office. The role would be ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and assume more responsibility for greater reward. The successful candidate will work as part of a team within the accounts department, enjoying client contact and liaising with staff of varied experience levels to complete tasks in a supportive, friendly environment. As An Assistant Accountant Your Duties Will Include Being a point of contact for a portfolio of clients The preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts and various forecasts VAT compliance, supporting client book-keeping and providing software support Proactively advising clients on the most appropriate in house software packages Allocating work to and reviewing the work of more junior members of the team Taking on ad hoc analysis and project work Direct client contact will be a feature of the role so candidates should be comfortable with and enjoy this aspect of work. Requirements For The Role Experience using IRIS, SAGE and Xero would be beneficial. The role is open to full time applicants and is office based.
