Salary: £110 - £160 per day, subject to experience
Are you passionate about food, nutrition, and inspiring the next generation of chefs? Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Sunderland. This is an exciting opportunity to engage students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 and help them develop essential culinary skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and informative Food Technology lessons aligned with the curriculum for KS3, KS4, and KS5.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and experimentation in cooking.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Food Technology curriculum and share best practices.
* Promote an understanding of nutrition, food safety, and healthy eating habits among students.
Qualifications:
* Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
* Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting, particularly in KS3, KS4, and KS5.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for food and cooking, with the ability to inspire students in the kitchen.
